There is a difference between Regional Accreditation and National Accreditation. There are six regional accrediting organizations. Most of your State and Private schools that are known for their academics (or sports) are regionally accredited. DeVry University is accredited by the North Central Assoc of Colleges and Schools. The same accrediting organization as Northwestern, U of IL, Notre Dame, University of Mich, etc.
