Central Florida College – Community Resources
The school was established in the late 1950s when those in charge of the communities of Marion, Citrus and Levy decided that citizens needed an educational resource to help it grow and prosper.
Central Florida College’s Accreditation
The College of Central Florida is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the associate degree and is in the process of final approval to award baccalaureate degrees.
The College of Central Florida is also accredited by the Florida Department of Education to award associate degrees, credit certificates and occupational certificates.
Central Florida College’s Memberships
The college is a member of the following associations; the American Association of Community Colleges, the Florida Association of Community Colleges, and the Association of Community College Trustees.
